News…and Kindle Countdown Deals

IMG_20181021_144325 (2)Welcome to autumn!

I haven’t been active on this blog for a year and a half, it seems. I must admit it has been a disheartening time, with my writing only happening in fits and starts and me having to take some employment to keep going, which obviously removes writing time.

There was a time when my books were bringing in almost enough to live on, but that was two years ago and now they’re earning very little, but of course I have had nothing new out for several years so it’s no surprise.

That’s not to say that I’ve written nothing in those years. I do have three stories in the pipeline and am working on something that I hope to have out for this Christmas as well. My medieval Wales story has had a large revamp and is definitely proceeding. My SF story is also still well on the way. The reason for skipping between these is that sometimes there is a block so it’s easier to move to another story for a while. Obviously this then creates other problems, which may well be why I am where I am right now!

I’ve closed down my Patreon page for the time being as it was gaining no new patrons and I couldn’t see any purpose in it under those circumstances. If there were a flurry of new interest I might revive it.

I’m running Kindle Countdown Deals on The Legacy, The Dream and Angelica Died from 26th October to 2nd November. The three short stories will also be free for five days each during that period.

Watch this space for more interesting news in the future!
